What this site stores, what Stripe handles, and how to ask me about your data. Short, because there isn't much.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Nikita Vale, trading as Nikita Vale Studio, Lisbon, Portugal. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].

What this site stores

  • For each donation: the amount, currency, whether the payment went through, and Stripe's reference ids for the payment and customer. No card data, and no name or email from the payment is shown or used.
  • If you order the toy: your name, delivery address and email (see below).
  • To limit repeated attempts, the site records the IP address of requests to the sign-in, sign-up, donation and toy order forms.
  • If you create an account: your account email and what you choose to put on your page.
  • If you email me: your message, kept only to reply to you.

Toy orders and your address

When you order the toy, I collect your name, delivery address and email only to ship it and to contact you about the order. I don't use them for anything else, and the email is never added to a mailing list.

  • They are shared only with the postal carrier that delivers the parcel (and with Stripe, which has its own record of the payment).
  • I keep them until 12 months after the toy is shipped or refunded, then they are cleared.
  • If you start checkout and never pay, the details are cleared automatically, usually within a day.
  • Only I can see them, behind a sign-in and an emailed code.

What Stripe handles

Donations are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout, and Stripe sends you a receipt by email. Stripe processes only what it needs to take the payment; see Stripe's privacy policy.

Cookies

If you sign in, the site sets a session cookie to keep you signed in. It uses no tracking or advertising cookies, and no analytics that follow you around.

Who sees your data

I don't sell your data or use it for advertising. It is shared only with the services needed to run the site and take payments, such as Stripe and the hosting provider, and, for toy orders, the postal carrier.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. Records of payments may need to be kept for accounting reasons.

Changes

When this policy changes, I'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
