What a donation is

A donation is a voluntary gift to Nikita Vale, trading as Nikita Vale Studio. It doesn't buy a product, a service or design work, and you get nothing in return except my thanks. Every donation is a single payment. Nothing renews and you'll never be charged again.

Donations are not made to a charity.

How payment works

You pay on Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe processes only what it needs to take the payment and will email you a receipt. This site never sees or stores your card. It keeps the amount, currency, whether the payment went through and Stripe's reference ids for it. If you have an account, the site also stores your account email and uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies. Read more on the Privacy page.

Refunds

Donations are normally final. If you donated by mistake or were charged twice, email [email protected] within 30 days and I'll refund you in full, back to your original card. See the Refunds page for details.

The toy

Separately from donations, you can buy a small toy, posted to you: $30 to a US address, $40 to anywhere else, shipping included, in US dollars. It is a purchase, not a donation, and stock is limited. Delivery takes about 5 to 10 business days in the US and 2 to 6 weeks worldwide. Your address is used only to ship it; see the Privacy page and the Refunds page, and see the toy.
